The Oakton 69200-00 twelve-channel, scanning, benchtop thermometer has 115 VAC power for a wide variety of applications, and the ability to scan and log up to twelve thermocouple inputs from a wide variety and combination of thermocouple probes. A scanner is used to monitor temperature during different process steps or phases in environments such as food service and preparation facilities, and in the HVAC, industrial, educational and laboratory industries. With its twelve-channel scanning ability, this temperature scanner can monitor input from any combination of J, K, T, E, N, B, R, and S thermocouple probes, used at various temperature ranges. Each of the twelve thermocouple inputs can be programmed to scan from every four seconds to hourly. Thermocouple type is individually selectable by channel, and each probe can be field-calibrated separately to achieve reading accuracies of + or - 0.1%. Each channel features store, hold, max (maximum), min (minimum), recall and average buttons. Up to eight units can be linked together to expand channel capacity. This scanner stores and recalls up to 4680 sets of readings with time and date stamps. It has automatic or manual display of temperature readings for ease of operation. It has a 12-character, 14-segment, ¾ inch high, alphanumeric, LCD display. Its parallel printer connection provides the option to print hard copy records. It has an RS-232 port for setup or PC data logging. High or low alarm set points can be selected for each channel. The controller has the ability to enable or disable the audible alarm and set alarm hysteresis. It is immune to radio frequency (RF) interference and meets Conformite Europeene (CE) compliance requirements for electromagnetic compatibility. This scanner is factory-calibrated to National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)-traceable standards. The 69200-00 has a 115 VAC, 50/60 Hz power supply. Range is -250 to 1800 degrees C (-418 to 3272 degrees F). Resolution 0.1 degree/1 degree selectable to 999.9 degree; 1 degree above 1000 degrees. Accuracy J, K, T, E, N: + or – 0.1% of reading, + or - 0.5 degrees C (+ or - 0.8 degrees F) above -150 degrees C; + or - 0.25 % of reading, + or - 1 degree C (+ or - 2 degrees F) below -150 degrees C; R, S, B: + or - 0.1% of reading, + or - d degrees C ( + or - 4 degrees F). Sampling rate is from 4 seconds/12 channels to 99 minutes 59 seconds /12 channels. Controller dimensions are 10.5 (w) x 8.5 (l) x 3.5 (h) inches, and it weighs 3.0 lbs. The scanner accepts thermocouple probes with mini-connectors for probe changes.A scanner monitors temperature to control environment, and is used to control in laboratory, manufacturing, educational, animal facilities, and in industrial applications.Oakton Instruments manufactures an array of scientific instruments for research, industrial, and educational uses.
