Cord-free, professional wood repair kit for Knot Filler application. This complete wood repair kit includes everything necessary in order to make perfect repairs with Knot Filler. The cord-free Knot Filler gun gives you the freedom-of-movement to repair wherever you want.
Badaptor enables you to use your DeWalt, Makita, Milwaukee or Bosch battery for the BCD 540 Battery Gun meaning there's no new battery/charger platform to carry around!
Lithium batteries also poison the environment so the fewer in circulation, the better. It's a win win!

- Professional, battery-driven, cord-free Knot Filler gun
- Accepts D Ø12 mm sticks
- Functioning time on fully charged battery 100-120 min (2.0Ah)
- Fixed temperature setting 170°C
- Approx. 7 minutes heating time
- Works with your chosen battery platform (no extra batteries/chargers needed)
How does it work?
Using the BCD 540 Knot Filler gun is easy:
- Turn on the Knot Filler gun and let it heat for 7 minutes
- Place a Knot Filler stick in the Knot Filler gun
- Shoot the Knot Filler into the knot/repair. Make sure to be fast while applying.
- Quickly place a cooling iron/block on the Knot Filler and let it cool off.
- Cut off excess Knot Filler with a cutting tool. The Knot Filler repair is ready for this when the cooling iron/block easily comes off the Knot Filler.
- Sand the repair with sanding paper - by hand or machine
- Ready for surface treatment! Use oil, lacquer, stain, paint etc.
IMPORTANT!
- Never pull out sticks of the Knot Filler gun as it destroys the chamber!
- Never place the BCD540 Knot Filler gun on the side and never point it upwards before it is completely cooled off.
- Read the MSDS or Product Information Sheet and follow the instructions closely
